V6000 troubleshooting and alarm codes

When the V6000 has a fault, the fault indicator on the front display lights up and shows a three-digit fault code (manual section 5.2). This page reproduces the Alarm Code Index from the appendix of the V6000 user manual V1.0.

Do not open the enclosure

The manual says: "Deep maintenance, annual servicing, or any operations that involve opening the equipment enclosure or accessing internal high-voltage components must NOT be performed by the user... must only be carried out by our certified professional technicians." The steps below are limited to restarting, removing loads, checking inputs and the environment, and contacting support. Before any wiring check, the unit must be fully de-energised.

Quick guide to the suggested actions

Action in the tableWhat it means
RestartRestart the unit and check whether the fault clears. If it persists, contact the manufacturer for technical support.
Remove loadsRemove all loads and restart the unit. Optionally reconnect with a smaller load. Check whether the fault clears. If it persists, contact the manufacturer.
Stop & callPower off the unit and contact the manufacturer for technical support immediately.
Check PVPower off the unit and check whether the PV input is normal, then restart. If it persists, contact the manufacturer.
Cool downPower off the unit and check the ambient temperature. Place it somewhere between 0 °C and 50 °C, let it rest for 10 minutes, then restart. If the fault does not clear, contact the manufacturer.

How this table was reconstructed

The Drive text extraction lists some alarm names apart from their code numbers (011–016, 023–028, 033–037, 103–108 and 201–205). This page pairs them in the order they appear, checked against each suggestion (for example, the "check the ambient temperature" steps go with the temperature alarms). All five 201–205 codes share the same "restart" advice, so their exact order does not change what to do. Check the PDF before quoting a specific code as definitive.

Common situations

These are explanations based on the table, not extra manual instructions.

SituationLikely codesFirst step
Too many appliances on AC-OUT, or a motor or compressor with high start-up current005, 006, 009, 012, 109Remove loads, restart, then add loads back gradually. AC output is 6 kW continuous / 12 kW peak.
Unit in a hot room or direct sun030–034, 105, 107, 113Move it or ventilate the space to keep it between 0–50 °C, rest 10 minutes, then restart.
Solar problem after rain or new panel work025–028Power off and have the installer check the PV strings (80–500 V, 16 A max per input).
Battery flat after a long brownout102, 104Reconnect the grid or PV to recharge.
App or cloud not updating201–205Restart the unit and check the Wi-Fi.

When to stop using it and call for service

From manual section 7.2, stop using the V6000 immediately and contact Silvera Solar Power or MARSTEK if you see:

  • persistent alarm codes on the display;
  • unusual noise, smell, or visible overheating, bulging or leakage;
  • a sudden, unexplained drop in capacity or output power;
  • any cable, terminal or connector that looks burnt or discoloured, or can't be tightened securely.

Emergencies (manual section 1.5)

  • Electrolyte leak: don't enter the room, and avoid the liquid and gas. Call emergency services if needed. For eye or skin contact, rinse with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and get medical help.
  • Fire: switch off all connected power sources if safe. For a battery fire, use fire sand, a CO2 extinguisher or other approved electrical-fire equipment. If the fire hasn't reached the battery, a Type ABC extinguisher can be used. Watch for re-ignition.
  • Flood: don't touch the unit and switch off all breakers. Wait for the water to recede, then contact MARSTEK or an authorised service partner. Do not reuse a flooded battery.
